How to Trade on ProphetX: Sign-Up, Deposits, Fees and the $75 Offer

What is ProphetX?

ProphetX is a sports prediction exchange. Your orders are matched with other market participants, and ProphetX earns a trading fee. It runs on the website and in a mobile app. I have funded an account and traded on it myself. For scores and a verdict, read our full ProphetX review.

Who can open a ProphetX account?

You must be 18, or the age of majority where you are if that is higher. ProphetX publishes no list of states. Its help center says access is restricted from certain locations, and its terms require location services to be switched on. Our welcome offer is valid in 49 states + D.C. (per the partner's offer terms, checked October 5, 2026). Connecticut's Department of Consumer Protection ordered ProphetX and eight other companies on September 10, 2026 to stop offering sports event contracts in the state. How do you sign up for ProphetX?

1. Create the account. Open ProphetX through our link and enter your details. If the form asks for a promo code, use WINPREDICTS.
2. Pass the identity check. Most accounts are verified automatically. If yours is not, ProphetX asks for photos of the front and back of your ID, a selfie and your Social Security number. Review usually takes a few hours and can take up to 24.
3. Wait for approval. Until the account is verified you can log in, but you cannot deposit, trade or withdraw.

How do you deposit on ProphetX?

Tap the arrow next to your balance, choose "Deposit Funds", pick a method and enter the amount. The minimum is $10, and the maximum depends on the method and your history with it.

Use a card or account in your own name. ProphetX says a deposit from someone else's card or account leads to a hold and can close the account. Its help pages state no deposit fee, apart from saying EDGE Boost has none.

How do you place a trade on ProphetX?

Pick a game, choose a market (Moneyline, Spread or Total) and choose a side. Prices are quoted between $0 and $1. If you are new to that format, start with how to read prediction market prices.

Then choose the order type. A market order fills at the best price available right now. A limit order names your price and rests on the book until another participant takes the other side. You can also trade while a game is live, with a short delay on each live order. Review the cost and the fee before you confirm.

What fees does ProphetX charge?

On straight trades ProphetX charges a 2% trading fee on your net gains per market. On parlays, only the taker (the order that fills against a resting order) pays a fee. It is charged as a rate on the cost of the trade that depends on the price, with a minimum of 1 cent per order.

How does the Trade $50, Earn $75 offer work?

• Qualify: within 30 days of your account being approved, make at least $50 of trades that open a new position at a price of $0.80 or below. Orders must fill. Closing trades do not count.
• First $25: credited within 24 hours of reaching $50.
• Second and third $25: credited 7 and 14 days after you qualify, but only if you have fully used the previous $25 to open new positions priced at $0.80 or below. If you have not, that installment and any later one are forfeited.
• Use it in time: each $25 must be used within 45 days or it expires.
• Withdrawing: bonus funds can be withdrawn only after the positions you used them on settle.

A reader who qualifies and then never uses the first $25 ends up with $25 in total, and loses that too after 45 days. Trading involves risk, and a bonus does not change that. Offer terms apply.

How do you withdraw from ProphetX?

ProphetX takes up to 24 hours to approve a withdrawal. What happens next depends on the method.
